Immerse yourself in an environment that sparks and sustains creativity.

Ardemont started when David Evan and his father, a builder by trade, who had been diagnosed with cancer, decided to do one last project together. David has lived in a few states, but when this project came together, he knew the only place he would really want to do it would be his favorite: Vermont. His father passed before they could finish, but with the help of family and friends, after years of work, the studio was completed.

David and Ardemont’s mission is to provide Vermont musicians and artists with a professional, unique, and immersive experience at a price that is not prohibitive for those who may not otherwise have access to such a studio, as a way to appreciate and give back to the Vermont music community, and to honor his father.

Ardemont is themed to keep the creative energy flowing, as a medieval Alchemist/Wizard castle complete with flame sconces, stone walls, fantasy decor, and optional scents from cozy fires to enchanted forests (request at booking). Become fully immersed in a magical atmosphere, forget the outside world, and create.

The main live room floor is poured epoxy fire, and the 15’ hand painted sky ceiling has, along with traditional dimmable main ceiling lights, an LED RGB lighting system that is reactive to volume and frequencies, or can be set for mellow color washes.

Nestled in South Hero, Vermont, the studio sits on 20 acres of beautiful land to walk through on breaks. It can feel like the middle of nowhere when you want it to, but restaurants, pubs, marts and services are less than a five minute drive down the road.

The lounge has a kitchenette, and the bathroom has a shower, a washer, and dryer.

Ardemont has three separate systems to keep you comfortable:
-Radiant floor heat
-HRV (this cycles out stale air and replaces it with fresh, filtered air)
-Silent Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Mini-splits with Nanoe X tech to inhibit various types of pathogens and pollutants found in the air and on surfaces, including viruses and common allergens. Even on a high pollen day, the air in the studio will be perfect for recording vocals.
